This issue comes down to targeting. It’s that simple. If you are generating the wrong kind of followers, then we need to look at the targets and determine which targets could be producing these unwanted results.
Remember: Targeting big profiles with millions of followers is a bad idea because there are tons of bots and fake followers that follow that account.
Finding people that are popular, but that have a legitimate audience who you want to attract are great targets.
That said, nobody knows your audience but yourself. So, if you are not getting the followers you want, then it’s highly recommended to look at your targets and see how you can optimize them.
